Summer Quantum Lunch: Sandwiches and Sandwiched Renyi Divergences

Abstract: Recently a new non-commutative generalization of the classical Renyi-divergences has been introduced. These quantities are based on non-commutative Lp-norms and have many applications for quantum information theory. I will review some basic properties of these quantities and how they can be used in quantum information theory.
