Title: Lieb-Thirring inequality and gradient correction
Abstract:
We discuss the connection between the kinetic energy of a many-body quantum fermionic state and its semiclassical approximation.
It is conjectured by Lieb and Thirring that the latter is always a lower bound for the former. We will prove this lower bound up to a gradient error term which is of smaller order.
