Title: The BCS energy gap at low density
Abstract:
I will present our recent findings on the BCS energy gap at zero temperature $\Xi$ in the low density limit $\mu \to 0$.
I will present our recent findings on the BCS energy gap at zero temperature $\Xi$ in the low density limit $\mu \to 0$.
Together with previous work by Hainzl and Seiringer (Lett Math Phys 84: 99–107, 2008) on the critical temperature we find
that the ratio of the energy gap and critical temperature is a universal constant independent of the interaction - a result that is well-known in the physics literature.
