Title: QuNorth and the Nordic ecosystem

Abstract: This talk introduces QuNorth - who we are, our vision and mission, and our place in the Nordic quantum ecosystem. QuNorth is established to own and operate Magne, a quantum computer being built right now in Copenhagen, and to facilitate the development of the Nordic quantum ecosystem.

QuNorth exists to catalyze progress on some of the hardest near-term challenges of the quantum computing industry from a Nordic perspective: identifying the computational problems genuinely suited for quantum computing, the challenges along the way to reliable quantum computing, and building the ecosystem to sustain leadership in the Nordics. In this talk, I will aim to concretize that vision for UCPH researchers - i.e. what to gain from industry collaboration - and share our current view on modes of engagement.
