Title: Semiclassical analysis of mean-field type equations
Abstract: In this talk, I will present a general method for deriving semiclassical approximations in mean-field quantum systems.
The approach combines the correspondence principle of quantum mechanics with stability analysis of the underlying classical PDEs. I will focus on the three-dimensional Hartree equation with Coulomb interaction as a concrete example, and provide an intuitive explanation of how this framework can be extended to other mean-field type equations addressing different physical situations (pure and mixed states) and topologies (strong and weak).
